Earlier this week, we got the first poster for Christopher Nolan‘s Interstellar, and now the first official image has debuted in EW’s latest issue.  The story revolves around a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole “to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.”  According to Nolan’s production designer Nathan Crowley, it also involves “black holes, relativity, gravity, and their effect on time,” as well as a “very human story about a father and a daughter.”  We also know the plot involves climate change and a search across time and space to save corn, the Earth’s sole remaining crop.

If you want to see the new trailer, either swing by the Air & Space Museum or see it attached to Godzilla, which opens on May 16th.  Interstellar opens on November 7th and stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Casey Affleck, Michael Caine, David Oyelowo, Wes Bentley, John Lithgow, Ellen Burstyn, Topher Grace, David Gyasi, Mackenzie Foy, Bill Irwin, and Timothée Chalamet.
