Evolve Closed Alpha Out in Late October

Posted on October 9, 2014 at 6:29 pm by Felix Mui

For those of you who can’t wait of one of the bigger games to be released next year, you have a chance to get into the Evolve‘s “Big Alpha”. The Alpha will run for a few days between October 30th (Xbox One) and October 31st (PS4 and PC) till November 2nd. Announced earlier today, this isn’t the Open Beta that’s being slated for January 2015 exclusively on the Xbox One. Instead it’s an earlier glance into the game itself in preparation for that beta and ultimately the final game.1-lazarus-v-krakenrs

If you’ve pre-ordered the game previously from GameStop, Amazon, Best Buy, Target or Walmart, you’ll be guaranteed a spot in this Alpha. Note that the priority registration for Xbox One and separately for PS4 and PC are both tied to a limited multi-use code that only gains you entry into the pool for the Big Alpha. Stay tuned to Evolve‘s own website, Facebook, and Twitter in order to get a usable code for registration.

Having tried out Evolve at PAX and seeing the large group of people lined up for the game, it’s no wonder that many gamers are excited for the unique 4 on 1 gameplay from Turtle Rock Studios of Left 4 Dead fame. Expect wide coverage of Evolve prior to it’s 2015 release right here on Geek Legacy!
