Everyone is Ready for a Fight in New Promo Art from CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

We got a bit of Captain America: Civil War marketing deluge last week between the new trailer and the Spider-Man reveal, but if you still need your fix for today, a handful of promo images have landed online showing the character ready to go for the jugular. While these are just concept art drawings rather than photos, they’re still pretty neat, and if you arrange them just right, you could have a pretty fun splash page of your own. You can even mix and match to make your own team, so there’s that too.

Check out the Captain America: Civil War promo images below [via CBR] and wonder if a minor controversy will erupt if Daredevil isn’t the only person in the MCU who wields a baton as a weapon.  The film opens May 6th, and stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, and Paul Rudd.

Here’s the official synopsis for Captain America: Civil War:

Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability. Get ready to pick a side and join the nonstop action playing out on two fronts when Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” opens in U.S. theaters on May 6, 2016.
