Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two Release Date Announced

Fans of the Disney Wii game Epic Mickey can look forward to a sequel, Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two coming to a store near them on November 18.  While the concept seemed really fun, kind of a Disneyfied version of SquareEnix’s Kingdom Hearts (much beloved by me), the game itself was not what I had hoped for it. I found it difficult to control, and didn’t get very far into it because of that.  It seems that Disney has tried to make a number of improvements though, not the least of which is putting the sequel on multiple platforms, including Xbox 360 and the PS3 as well as the Nintendo Wii.  Other fun tidbits are that Oswald will be playable along with Mickey, and all characters, including silent ones from the first game will have voices!  Read more about it here.

Thoughts? Comments? I, for one, am excited that it’s going to be across multiple platforms and that the puzzles will require both Mickey and Oswald sometimes.  I’m definitely going to give this game a chance!
