Dwayne Johnson Tweets 3 New HERCULES Photos

Posted on July 26, 2013 at 10:08 pm by David "Snackbar" Edmundson

While Twitter may be scorned by some as too spammy or self serving, it has been a huge source of information, photos, and video straight from the biggest film sets.  Bryan Singer has been very active on Twitter for X-Men: Days of Future Past, regularly posting updates and photos.  Marc Webb  did the same thing during the production of The Amazing Spider-Man 2.  Now Dwayne “Don’t call me the Rock” Johnson is getting in on the action on his latest film Hercules.  Directed by Brett Ratner, the film is described as “a revisionist take on the classic myth set in a grounded world where the supernatural does not exist.”  We’ve already seen a couple of teases of Johnson in costume, and now the actor has offered a few more looks at the set, including an impressive shot of the Thracian soldiers.

The film also stars Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan, John Hurt, Rebecca Ferguson, Ingrid Bolso Berdal, Askel Hennie, and Reece Ritchie.  Hercules opens on July 25, 2014.
