Diablo III

Blizzard Entertainment announced today that Diablo III will finally make its way to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 3. I can’t begin to explain the amount of hours this game may take away from you. Blizzard is no stranger when it comes to feeding the addictions of gamers. Fans of the Diablo franchise, along with the millions of subscribers to World of Warcraft, can attest to the dangers in playing these games. Once you have a taste and the cravings begin to sink in, you’ll start scratching your arms and licking your lips with anticipation. Welcome to Diablo III.

In the press release, Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard said “In addition to the fine-tuning we’ve done for the console versions, we’re also including major content and design updates we’ve made to the PC version over the past year…”

Those that preorder Diablo III will receive an exclusive in-game item: the Infernal Helm, which will boost your character’s experience, allowing for increased leveling speed.

Diablo III was originally released for PC/Mac on May 15, 2012 and within 24 hours became the fastest-selling PC game of all time. I have well over 200 hours logged in this game and that’s before taking a year long break. Since my return, there have been several updates and patches to make Diablo III one of the best dungeon crawlers I’ve ever had the pleasure to play. How many of you are going to pick up the console version?
