Diablo 3 on Xbox One

Demon slayers around the world rejoice with the news of Blizzard’s upcoming release Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition will run at 1080p after a day-one patch. Additionally, the game will run at 60 fps on Xbox One and PS4, making both console versions more or less graphical equals.

“The game will be available [in] 1080p on both the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One,” Blizzard associate producer Tiffany Wat told GameSpot. “Native 1080p resolution. You will need to download the day-one patch for the Xbox One to get that support, but it will be there. We’re very happy about that.”

The big differences between the two versions would have to be the PlayStation exclusives. Players will journey into a special Last of Us Nephalem Rift, which features Stalker, Clicker, and Bloater infected monsters from The Last of Us game. Let’s not forget about the “Guise of the Colossi” armor set, inspired by the Shadow of the Colossus game on PS2. This armor set can┬ábe used to transmog your hodgepodge digs into something a little more fierce.

The Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition will launch for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, and PS3 on August 19.
