Diablo 3 Anniversary Buff

The Diablo 3 anniversary buff is over, but not really… The fine folks at Blizzard have decided to keep the increased legendary drop rate that had served as a birthday bonus for players celebrating the game’s two year anniversary. The anniversary buff began on Thursday, May 15 at midnight PST and ran all the way through this morning, ending at 5AM PST. Players received double Rift Fragments as well as a +100% boost to their chance to find Legendary quality items.

Hello folks,

I come bearing exciting news. Due to the overwhelming popularity of our Anniversary buff we have decided to keep the increased Legendary drop rate once the Anniversary celebration ends. Once the buff is disabled tomorrow morning, you will find that the new base line drop rates for Legendary items will be the same as those you have all enjoyed for the last week.

Happy hunting and link the loot!

This is exciting news to say the least. I was actually a little sad I couldn’t find the time to play last night. Blizzard must have felt my pain and I thank them for their kindness. Did you score any sweet loot whilst under the effects of the Diablo 3 anniversary buff?
