Destiny Finally Unveiled

Posted on February 17, 2013 at 12:06 pm by Justin Cavender

Bungie is well known for their success on the Halo franchise. After the release of Halo Reach, the gaming community was eager to know what comes next. For nearly two years there have been rumors, whispers, and leaked documents regarding their next project. Today, Bungie has revealed Destiny, their new first-person shooter with a 10 year plan.

Destiny promises to be the next evolution of entertainment with a variety of FPS gameplay, customizable equipment, co-op and social activities.

“If you can find a way to save the city, to reclaim all that we have lost, you will become legend. If you fail, the last light of civilization will go out.”

Do you think you have what it takes? You’ve saved the world before, haven’t you? Of course you have. We’re gamers. It’s what we do.

Everything changed with the arrival of the Traveler. It sparked a Golden Age when our civilization spanned the solar system, but it didn’t last. Something hit us, knocked us down. The survivors built a city beneath the Traveler, and have begun to explore our old worlds, only to find them filled with deadly foes.

You are a Guardian of the last safe city on Earth, able to wield incredible power. Defend the City. Defeat our enemies. Reclaim all that we have lost.

Be brave.

      Can't wait!

Yeah it looks pretty amazing. Bungie knows how to make some cool shit. I don't see how this can disappoint. I wonder if there will be a subscription or just B2P.
