With DC’s next big Superman movie set to come out in less than a month on June 14th, DC and Sears have decided to prepare everyone for the big release by naming June 12th ‘Man of Steel Day’ at your local comic shop.

So what does ‘Man of Steel Day’ mean for you? Well, along with being able to pick up the first issue of Superman Unchained which will be released on the 12th, fans will also receive a free copy of Grant Morrison and Frank Quietly’s All-Star Superman #1 Special Edition, promotional posters, and commemorative bags to get you all excited for the film.

If you’re more of a fan of the digital marketplace, All-Star Superman #1 will also be offered free for download. Accompanying that will be a massive sale on hundreds of Superman comics offered on pretty much every digital comics platform.

It doesn’t end there! Following the films release, on Saturday, June 15th DC will also be bringing Superman to over 1,000 libraries across the country to offer comics, buttons, and bookmarks. Bookmarks people, BOOKMARKS!
