DC Announces “Superman/Wonder Woman” Comic

Posted on June 17, 2013 at 6:04 pm by Tyler Waterman

There weren’t many things that got me more excited than finding out that DC was bringing together Batman and Superman in their own comic again, but this announcement was pretty damn close. Today DC Comics revealed that this October would see the start of Superman/Wonder Woman, bringing together the biggest power couple in comics in their own standalone title.

The Clark and Diana relationship has been one of the coolest things to come out of the New 52, and was something I never thought would last very long, so the fact that the concept is getting its own title clearly proves me wrong (and I’m totally ok with that). Charles Soule (Swamp Thing) will write the title, while Tony Daniel (Action Comics, Detective Comics) will bring the pencils. Check out Daniel’s promo art for the upcoming title below, and get ready for all the super-smooching you can handle this fall!
