Last week, The CW unveiled the first image of Grant Gustin in costume for its The Flash TV series pilot. It was a constrained look as we only saw Gustin’s face, but fans were simply happy to get a preview of what the character will look like in the anticipated superhero show. However, the network has decided that fans don’t have to wait long to see the full costume, as The CW today released a full-body image of Gustin as the DC Comics character. The costume was created by Academy Award-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood (Alice in Wonderland), who is also responsible for the principal costume in The CW’s Arrow. Production is currently underway on The Flash pilot, so we should hear word regarding a series pickup (or a pass) by May as The CW puts together its Fall 2014/15 schedule.
The cast for The Flash also includes Jesse L. Martin (Law & Order), Tom Cavanagh (Ed), Danielle Panabaker (Shark), Rick Cosnett (The Vampire Diaries), Candice Patton (The Game), and Carlos Valdes.
Here’s the logline for The Flash:
Through a freak accident, scientist Barry Allen is given the power of super speed that transforms him into the Fastest Man Alive, in THE FLASH.
