Comic Con Posters for I, FRANKENSTEIN

Posted on July 16, 2013 at 9:24 am by Amanda Andonian

Ready for Comic Con? Lionsgate sure is, releasing three new posters especially for SDCC for the upcoming I, Frankenstein. It looks like the movie is going to be very creepy and dark, judging by these posters, though I’m not entirely sure how I feel about the introduction of angels, demons, and gargoyles into the Frankenstein story.

Each poster represents a different faction from the movie: the “Evil” Demons of Naberious, the “Good” Gargoyle Order (though I’m not sure how “good” they look), and the “Immortal” Adam (Aaron Eckhart), Frankenstein’s monster. If you’re going to be at Comic Con, you can pick up one of these posters signed by the cast and crew. Check them out below.

The official synopsis:

Set in a dystopic present where vigilant gargoyles and ferocious demons rage in a battle for ultimate power, Victor Frankenstein’s creation Adam (Aaron Eckhart) finds himself caught in the middle as both sides race to discover the secret to his immortality. From the creators of the hit supernatural saga, UNDERWORLD, comes the action thriller I, FRANKENSTEIN, written for the screen and directed by Stuart Beattie based on the graphic novel “I, Frankenstein” by Kevin Grevioux, and brought to life by a cast that includes Aaron Eckhart, Bill Nighy, Yvonne Strahovski, Miranda Otto, Jai Courtney, Socratis Otto, Mahesh Jadu, Caitlin Stasey and Aden Young as Victor Frankenstein

What do you guys think? Do these special posters make you want to run out and buy your ticket for I, Frankenstein? Personally, I think they could’ve done a little more to make Eckhart look like he was pieced together from several human body parts, but I guess you gotta have your leading man look at least somewhat recognizable!
