Cognition

Exciting news for folks following Cognition on Steam Greenlight. Now is your chance to get your hands on episode 1 via IndieGameStand. Paying more than a $1 will make you eligible to receive a Steam/Desura/GOG key if and when Cognition is available on any of those platforms. By beating the average price you will get a prequel PDF comic book and Volume 1 of the Game’s Soundtrack.

Cognition developer, Phoenix Online Studios has selected Penny Arcade’s Child’s Play Charity to receive 10% of the proceeds for this sale.

About the game

FBI agent Erica Reed has an uncanny talent: with one touch, she can see the past and piece together how a crime unfolded. But not even this sixth sense could save her younger brother, Scott, from a brutal serial killer. Three years later, the investigation into Scott’s murder has gone cold — but Erica’s work has only just begun. Now a new serial killer is loose in Boston — one who seems to be leaving deliberate clues that only Erica, with her unique post-cognitive abilities, can uncover. Is she finally on her way to solving Scott’s murder? Or, blinded by vengeance, is she falling into a trap that could cost Erica her life?

Cognition is a four part series and be sure to check out our review of Episode 1: The Hangman.

Episode 2: The Wise Monkey will be available for download on PC/MAC at the game’s official website January 30. Expect to see our review then, and we look forward to Erica’s next adventure.
