Hidden within the new TV spot for Star Wars: The Force Awakens that swept across the internet earlier today was a brief shot of the First Order Stormtroopers assembling en masse. Now we’ve got a hi-res image of that very scene to share with you. Not only does it feature an impressive display of the Empire’s shock troops and laser cannon fodder, it also hides some familiar-yet-redesigned vehicles on the periphery. You’ll also notice the back of the shiny, polished helmet belonging to, presumably, Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie).

Directed by J.J. Abrams, the film also stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford Lupita Nyong’o,Domhnall Gleeson, Andy Serkis, and Max Von Sydow. Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in traditional theaters and IMAX on December 18th.

Here’s a look at the newly released scene from Star Wars: The Force Awakens:

That shiny dome can only belong to one person, Captain Phasma.

You can see a nice collection of TIE fighters here:

Here are what appear to be troop transport vehicles:

And, what I assume will excite people the most. These appear to be redesigned AT-AT’s or Imperial Walkers:

I’m also stoked to see the return of pauldrons on the Stormtroopers. What do you guys think?
