Bourne in 90 Seconds Narrated by Matt Damon Recaps the Series to Date

As crazy as it sounds, there are still those who haven’t seen a single Jason Bourne movie. For those people there this new featurette that recaps most of the franchise in 90 seconds. It’s definitely like all those other “Everything You Need to Know” in X amount of seconds videos, but this one is at least narrated by Damon. Though brief, the video affords him enough time to throw in some comical bits, like, “I beat up an assassin with a pen [in Paris]. He jumps out the window. That’s on him. You all saw it.”

To tell you the truth, I’m still not quite sure I followed along with all the names, places, and things that went down, but it’s fun nonetheless. The only thing it leaves out is all the events that happened in The Bourne Legacy, because that doesn’t matter — or it doesn’t in the case of Jason’s story.

Watch the featurette below:

Damon returns in the franchise’s fifth installment, Jason Bourne, which is directed by Paul Greengrass (who helmed The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum), as co-stars Julia Stiles, Alicia Vikander, Tommy Lee Jones, and Vincent Cassel.

The titular super assassin, now more self-aware, is again drawn out of the shadows after which people monitoring screens and poring over camera footage proclaim, “That’s Jason Bourne!” I don’t have enough time to watch all the other films before Jason Bourne’s release on July 29th, so I am thankful for this video. Let’s hope I actually see this one and then I can say it came in handy.

Here’s the film’s official description:

Matt Damon returns to his most iconic role in Jason Bourne. Paul Greengrass, the director of The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum, once again joins Damon for the next chapter of Universal Pictures’ Bourne franchise, which finds the CIA’s most lethal former operative drawn out of the shadows.

For Jason Bourne, Damon is joined by Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel and Tommy Lee Jones, while Julia Stiles reprises her role in the series. Frank Marshall again produces alongside Jeffrey Weiner for Captivate Entertainment, and Greengrass, Damon, Gregory Goodman and Ben Smith also produce. Based on characters created by Robert Ludlum, the film is written by Greengrass and Christopher Rouse.
