BlizzCon 2015

Today Blizzard announced BlizzCon 2015 will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA on Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7. The cost of admission is $200 and as per the usual tickets will be going on sale in two batches on April 15 at 7pm PST and April 18 at 10am PST. Please visit the BlizzCon Ticket webpage for all the deets.

“There’s no better way to connect with the ever-expanding Blizzard community than by bringing everyone together at BlizzCon,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “With more games in development than ever before, we’ll have plenty of exciting updates to share and lots of great eSports competition to look forward to—we can’t wait to see everyone there.”

Also announced was the continued tradition of the exclusive pre-BlizzCon dinner to benefit Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) will be held Thursday, November 5. Here attendees get the chance mingle alongside the fine folks at Blizzard while supporting the children’s hospital. Ticket pricing and availability for this event will be announced at a later date.

Those of you unable to score tickets or just prefer to enjoy the show from your own home can simply purchase a BlizzCon Virtual Ticket. This will grant you first-rate coverage of the event without all the nerd sweat. According to the press release, pricing, availability, and programming information, will be announced at a later date.

At last year’s event Blizzard announced Overwatch, a team-based shooter and their first new IP in 17 years. The company also announced Goblins vs. Gnomes as the first expansion for Hearthstone and we got to see footage from the upcoming feature film Warcraft. It was a lot to take in before having our faces melted by Metallica during the closing ceremony.

Good luck getting tickets and we hope to see you there!
