A brand new trailer has been released from EA today. As we posted last Friday, Battlefield: Hardline will be the latest installment of the Battlefield franchise and the first game not to be developed in-house by the regular stewards Swedish-based DICE. Visceral Games, whom are most famous for their horror game series Dead Space is behind this cop and robbers themed game.

Following a leaked corporate trailer which showcased the the internal codename for the project as “Omaha” and detailed the focus on a story driven episodic campaign as well as the various game modes for multiplayer, EA experienced another leak earlier today when their E3 trailer was leaked with a PlayStation 4 banner on the end indicating a presence at Sony’s press conference. Ultimately they released the trailer on their official YouTube channel that is a 44 second highlight reel giving us our first official glimpse at the game.

Battlefield: Hardline will be coming on October 21st, not word yet on platforms but next-gen consoles and PC wouldn’t be a huge bet.
