Assassin's Creed III Thanksgiving Patch

It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of the Assassin’s Creed franchise and am in love with Assassin’s Creed III. In my review for the game, I mentioned several bugs and glitches that slowed down the experience of the game (you can read the full review here). Apparently, Ubisoft was listening to me and has announced the Assassin’s Creed III Thanksgiving Patch that will fix over one-hundred bugs.

Ok, maybe I wasn’t the one who pointed it out.

Dubbed the “Thanksgiving Patch,” Ubisoft promises that they have been hard at work and will resolve many of the issues that have been plaguing us gamers with one downloadable patch. This is great news and the full list of issues (which can be seen here) encompass both single player and multiplayer.

I’m glad Ubisoft is trying to fix all of the bugs at once, not a lot of companies would spend the time or resources to do something like this. I read through the bugs they are addressing and included were several that I experienced myself, which is comforting that I wasn’t the only person having these problems.

What do you Geeks think? Good timing on behalf of Ubisoft or do you feel like this list is too large for a post-launch update? The patch will be released Thanksgiving day (November 22) for both Xbox360 and Playstation 3.
