A Look At Batman: Black & White #1

Posted on September 2, 2013 at 9:30 am by Joe Blakeslee

The Batman never stops. And neither do his comics as this Wednesday DC gets ready to revitalize 1996’s Eisner Award winning series Batman: Black & White.

The brainchild of DC editor Mark Chiarello, both in its 1996 as well as current form, Batman: Black & White will be a six part anthology miniseries that will collect stories from a variety of writers and artists so talented that it must piss off the colorists that don’t get to work with them.

The first issue, which has some nice preview art below, will feature stories provided by Chip Kidd, Neil Adams, Joseph A Quinones Jr., Maris Wicks, John Arcudi and Howard Mackie. And art from Adams, Quinones Jr., Michael Cho, Sean Murphy, Chris Samnee and covers by Mark Silvestri.
