Last year, Netflix brought us one of those rare treats that they seem to specialize in, namely Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, a mini-series sequel to Wet Hot American Summer. The prequel to the cult comedy, which starred several members of the classic MTV sketch show The State, as well as the likes Bradley Cooper, Paul Rudd, and Amy Poehler, was precisely what fans of the show needed. Of the myriad pleasures that the Netflix series offers, the very top would be giving us more time to explore the absurdist world of Chris Meloni‘s spy-chef, while also giving us more time with the likes of Janeane Garofalo and David Hyde Pierce.

The show proved to be warmly received by audiences and critics, which makes today’s announcement that another return to the material, Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later, will be heading to the streaming service in 2017. As Variety reports, the new project will happen a decade after the original film but should not be considered a sequel…despite being the very definition of what a sequel is. Regardless, the new series will run for eight, 30-minute episodes, just like First Day of Camp, and will feature most, if not all of the original cast along with some new faces.

On top of this exciting announcement, Netflix has packaged the news with a quick teaser trailer which you can take a look at right below, showing performers like Poehler, Cooper, and Michael Ian Black making plans at the end of camp to meet up again in a decade. We shall see what happens next year when the new series is released, but there’s every reason to believe that the next chapter in this…well, franchise, will be ever bit as beguiling and delightful as the last two iterations.

Here’s the teaser trailer for Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later:
