Xbox One Price Cut

Phil Spencer and Yusuf Mehdi announced a $50 price cut for all versions of the Xbox One this holiday season. The price cut begins on November 2, 2014 and runs through January 3, 2015 at participating retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, Wal-Mart, and Microsoft Stores. Yes, the price cut includes ALL BUNDLES.

As someone who paid $500 at launch for the Xbox One (Day One Edition), I can honestly say without a doubt, this is a killer deal. Keep in mind, I have absolutely zero regrets on my purchase, and I would recommend the Xbox One to anyone in the market for a new console. Although, you can’t go wrong with either the PS4 or Wii U. So just do what I did and buy all three. Gotta catch ’em all!

The PS4 shot out of the gate like a canon having sold over 12 million units in its first year of release. Meanwhile, the Xbox One, which launched a week later, is sitting just barely over the 6 million mark. Will this price cut help close the gap between the two consoles? Or perhaps the Wii U will outsell them both…
