Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures have released two new TV spots for Godzilla. I am still impressed at the restraint the studios are showing in regards to how much of the titular monster they show us. While other summer blockbusters are rushing to reveal as much as possible, Godzilla is still teasing. Granted, we’re still six weeks away from the movie’s release, and there’s plenty of time to give away too much, but for the time being, it’s nice to get new footage, but not so much that the film will be slightly less exciting when it arrives.
The film stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Juliette Binoche, and David Strathairn. Godzilla opens in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D on May 16th.

Here’s the official synopsis for Godzilla.
An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.
